MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Mississauga Canoe Club Hall of Fame is to ensure the legacy of our athletes and coaches who have achieved outstanding standards of performance excellence is displayed as an inspiration to present and future generations.
CRITERIA
SECTION #1
GENERAL PRICIPLES
- Long standing member of the Mississauga Canoe Club
- Character and citizenship is exemplary
- Sportsmanship serves as a model for other members
- Displays an unwavering pride in being a member of the Mississauga Canoe Club
SECTION #2
ATHLETE
- On water accomplishments as a Mississauga Canoe Club member rank this athlete with the leading athletes of that era at the National and/or International levels
- The athlete’s standard of excellence was accomplished while displaying a positive spirit and passion for training and competing
COACH
- Accomplishments in the coaching realm while a member of the Mississauga Canoe Club serve as a standard for succeeding generations of MCC coaches.
- Accomplishments contributed to the development of paddle sport at the Club as well as the Divisional, Provincial, National and/or International levels.
