ADULT FITNESS

The Mississauga Canoe Club is pleased to offer Adult Fitness and Paddle Pool sessions for members of our community.

Strength and Conditioning Program (HiiT workouts): This program is ideally suited to adults who would like to improve their general strength and conditioning. The MCC will provide experienced coaches to plan and deliver these programs in our newly renovated strength and conditioning rooms. All are welcomed and coaches will provide adaptations within each workout to accommodate all levels of fitness. Change Rooms and showers are provided as well as day use lockers to store personal items.

Paddle Pool: This program is ideally suited to paddlers who are interested in improving their technique and paddling specific fitness. Paddlers from Sprint Canoe and Kayak, Surfski, Outrigger, and Dragon Boat are all welcome to attend. The MCC will provide coaches who are experienced in all paddling disciplines. Weekly practices will take place in the newly renovated paddle pool at the MCC. The MCC will provide seats and paddles for the paddle pool. Change Rooms and showers are provided as well as day use lockers to store personal items.

Participants should be over the age of 21 to enroll in this program.

Temporary Club Closure

Mandated by the City of Mississauga

Mayor Crombie declared a State of Emergency for Mississauga on March 23rd to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. All facilities within the City’s 500+ parks are now closed which includes community tennis club courts and the recreation facilities owned by the City. All non-essential businesses are to close.
