MASTERS
The MCC Masters Racing program is designed for both experienced and beginner paddlers. This established and well-delivered training program is designed for men and women who are interested in developing and maintaining their skills in sprint canoe/kayak. The goal of MCC’s Masters Program is to best prepare our members for the competitions that include the Canadian Masters Championships (CANMAS). Participants should be over the age of 21 to enroll in this program
SPRING/SUMMER PROGRAM
The program includes general strength and aerobic fitness work on and off the water in addition to on-water sprint canoe/kayak technical training.
Program runs: April 1 – October 31, 2024
Monday to Thursday: 6:30 to 8:00 pm
PROGRAM COST: $800 + HST
Volunteer requirements: 3 + 1 for Nationals
FALL/WINTER TRAINING PROGRAM
Program runs: October 30 – March 2 (no practices December 23 – January 7)

Monday 6:30pm-7:30pm Paddle Pool Workout
Monday 7:30pm-8:30pm ‘HiiT’ Workout
Wednesday 6:00am-7:00am ‘Heavy Weight’ Workout*
Wednesday 9:30am-10:30am ‘HiiT’ Workout
Thursday 6:30pm-7:30pm ‘HiiT’ Workout
Thursday 7:30pm-8:30pm Paddle Pool Workout
Friday 6:00am-7:00am Swimming Workout
Friday 9:30am-10:30am ‘HiiT’ Workout
Friday 4:00pm-5:00pm Hot Yoga (twice monthly)
Saturday 9:00am-11:00am Cardio (walk, run, cycle)
