TEAM BLUE
MCC’s core values of achieving individual and team excellence within a safe and pleasurable environment will be fostered in this program.
The 2024 Team Blue Racing Program is intended for participants aged 15 – 21 years old who are excited at the potential of excelling at a new sport or simply keen on continued development in Canoe/Kayak towards 2024. Team Blue is a new program at the MCC in 2023 and is intended for new paddlers over 15 years old or paddlers who have ‘graduated’ from the U14 Youth Racing Program. Participants will paddle in singles as well as crew boats with a goal that some participants will join our team at the Provincial and National Championships.
Due to staffing and equipment limitations, MCC is required to limit the number of participants in our summer program to 20 members.
This is an exceptional program that will build lifelong skills while enhancing the development of every athlete.
*Participants between the ages of 15-21 years old as of Jan. 1st of program year*
*Swimming Requirement: Canadian Red Cross “Swim Kids Level 6 or equivalent*

Tue, Wed, Thu from 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm
Saturday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am
PROGRAM COST: $600 + HST
Volunteer requirements: 2 + 1 for Nationals
