Our vision
The Masters-Outrigger personal winter training program is designed for both experienced and beginner paddlers over the age of 25. The program will include general strength, aerobic fitness and sprint canoe/kayak and outrigger technique training. Activity sessions will include paddle pool and weight training, running and other physical activities.
Winter Program
Program runs: October 30th – March 2nd (no practices December 23 – January 7)
Jan/Feb nordic ski/snowshoe (trail passes NOT included in registration fee)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
MCC Masters & Outrigger 2023 Winter Program
Personal winter training program designed for both experienced and beginner paddlers over the age of 25. The program will include general strength, aerobic fitness and sprint canoe/kayak and outrigger technique training. Activity sessions will include paddle pool and weight training, running and other physical activities.
This program will combine our current Adult Sprint Masters and Outrigger athletes into several fitness offerings each week. Participants may attend as many sessions as they like to suit their schedules and fitness goals.
Participants should be over the age of 25 to enroll in this program.
COST AND VOLUNTEER COMMITMENTS
Volunteering is fundamental to building the culture of membership in the Mississauga Canoe Club. Your mandatory participation ensures we can offer quality programming at an affordable cost, while bringing our members together to build friendships, learn more about our sport and encourage family participation in our club.-
1 volunteer commitment (Club event or Bingo)
Participants require a Club Singlet: $50 + HST. Please Order as an ‘add-on’ when you register online.
NSF fee $25; program withdrawal fee $50; fees non-refundable after one month
