SUMMER CAMP

Mississauga Canoe Club’s Summer Camp is a skill development program designed to introduce the community’s youth aged 7 – 12 years old to the sport of Olympic sprint canoe and kayak. Delivered by qualified instructors, we maintain an instructor participant ratio of 1:5 with the emphasis placed on learning the paddling fundamentals and skills in a fun-filled environment.

No prior canoeing or kayaking experience required. Participants should be confident swimmers.

The Mississauga Canoe Club will provide paddle equipment and boats.

Campers must arrive with their own appropriately sized personal floatation device (PFD).

Campers are to check in no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of the camp session and are required to be picked up from the canoe club promptly by 11:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m.
